The Miss Universe Philippines logo, which was designed to promote the beauty pageant, has been removed from the official website of the Miss Universe franchise in China.
According to the Miss VIRUS website, the Miss USA logo, the logo of the 2018 Miss Universe pageant and the Miss World logo were also taken off the site, but the Miss universe logo remained in place.
The logo was created by Miss Universe producer Lisa Chow in 1997 and was given to Miss Universe International, the organization that runs the pageant.
Chow said the logo was not used in any of the other major events held at the Miss Venezuela pageant in Venezuela, the world’s largest pageant, and the 2015 Miss Universe Latin America pageant in Brazil.
Champ’s logo has been used for a variety of products, including a “vibrating” water bottle and a “gig” for the Miss America pageant.
In its announcement, the Philippines’ Tourism Authority said the Miss Philippines logo was being removed because it was used in a promotional video promoting the Miss Virgin Universe.
The Philippine National Tourism Administration said the organization had “not authorized” the use of the logo in a “public promotional video.”
Chow did not respond to a request for comment.
The Miss Universe Organization said it had not yet received the notice.
Chows Facebook page said it was a mistake and that it will work with the Philippines Tourism Authority to ensure that the Miss world logo is never used again.
“We have been making efforts to remove the Miss Vegas logo from the Miss virgin universe website and have asked for an apology from Miss Universe Entertainment,” the post said.
