In a new interview, Steven and Stephen Universe star Steven Wilson spoke about the success of the hit TV series and movies, and how the pair was able to collaborate on the new TV series.
Wilson spoke to MTV News exclusively about the series, the upcoming TV series from Universal Pictures and the upcoming film, titled Miss Universe: Steg and Stephen, that will premiere on Netflix on March 31, 2020.
“We were pretty happy with the pilot,” Wilson said, when asked about the pilot, which is currently available on Netflix.
“We had a great idea and we did it.
It’s an interesting story, it’s very different than the show we were doing before.
We’re trying to find something different and that’s really been a great learning experience.”
Steven Wilson stars as Steg Wilson, the creator and executive producer of Steven & Stephen, the sci-fi comedy series from NBCUniversal Television, which ran from 2005-2010.
It starred Stephen, his son Steg Jr., their friend and fellow comic, and their friend’s brother, Michael.
Steven, a former member of the cast of MTV’s “Fashion Police” and the series’ creator, was also part of the panel.
The interview was filmed before the release of the new film, which was co-directed by Wilson and produced by Universal Pictures.
The film stars Bill Hader and Amy Poehler.
Stev and Stephen stars as the two siblings, who are trying to keep their family afloat while navigating a post-human society and a changing society, including the introduction of new technologies.
Stellen Wilson is a longtime comic and actor who’s best known for his roles on MTV’s Fashion Police, Comedy Bang Bang and Steg.
Steven’s other credits include roles on “Duck Dynasty,” “The Office” and “Scandal.”
He also had roles in movies including “The Walking Dead,” “Saving Private Ryan,” “Gravity” and more.
He’s also been seen in several reality TV shows, including “Empire” and Fox’s “Eagle and Arrow.”
Stev Wilson was born in Lubbock, Texas, in 1972.
He began his acting career at the age of 17 in his native Dallas, Texas.
He was cast as the lead in the sitcom “The C-list Kids” and in two sequels, including a spinoff in 2008.
Steffani Hamilton is a comedian and actress best known as the host of “Steffany Hamilton,” a daily talk show on Comedy Central that airs from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m., Monday through Friday.
She is a regular on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” and hosts the weekly “The Love Show with Stefani Hamilton.”
